In the spring of 2000, Packhorse Creek Outfitters took over the guide territory previously known as Flathead Outfitters. In the first five years of operation we have made significant upgrades to the camp infrastructure and trail network. In unison with a limited hunt schedule, Packhorse Creek tries to maintain a high level of service for high quality trophies.
Your outfitter David Beranek follows in the footsteps of
his father who guided in the Flathead in the late 50's and early 60's.
He has worked as an assistant guide in Southeastern B.C. since 1984 in
combination with his career as a wildlife biologist/environmental planner
before becoming a full-time outfitter in 2000.
Our crew pride themselves in their friendly, hard working
personalities. They combine their love of the hunt, the need for adventure
and the knowledge of the area to supply a quality experience for our
clients.
Packhorse Creek depends heavily on its mixed string of horses (quarter
horses, morgans, mules etc.) to supply the hunter with a safe, reliable
mode of transportation in the mountains.
