For clients that chose to fly, Fernie is in reasonable proximity to three International Airports. The first is the Kalispell International Airport, the second is the Calgary International Airport and the third is the Cranbrook, International Airport. Clients can either rent a vehicle or Packhorse Creek can arrange for a shuttle service. The shuttle picks clients up at the airport of choice the day before the scheduled hunt start and transports them to a hotel in Fernie. Packhorse Creek staff will pick the client up at 8:00 am on the morning of hunt start date and transport them to camp to begin the hunt.

During the afternoon of the last day of the hunt, the client will be transported back to the airport for a same day flight or to a convenient hotel for next day travel. Shuttle costs are available upon request.

For clients that prefer to drive, the two recommended 24 hour ports of entry are Sweetgrass, Montana and Eureka, Montana. On the Canadian side, the ports of entry are Coutts, Alberta and Roosville, Alberta. Clients can either travel directly to camp or meet the staff in Fernie for an escort.
